Hey beauts! I hope you are all good and that 2018 has been treating you well?
So I’ll being sharing my thoughts on the Toofaced Chocolate gold palette today and I honestly can’t wait. I received this gorgeous palette from my bestie as a present for my birthday, trust me when I say she is too cute when it comes to giving gifts a wrapping lol. Sadly I am nowhere near as creative, but I do try my best.
Anywho, let get into this review.
I don’t know whether you feel the same way but personally I find toofaced products a hit or miss most of the time, you really know until you’ve tried it whether it was worth the purchase. Products like their hangover face primer or their better than sex mascara are pretty great but there are products that are just not so great.
Anywho, the palette it self consists of 16 duochromatic matte and metallic eyeshadows that are infused with “real gold” so they say and cocoa powder. I have been wearing this palette almost everyday for the past week or so to work. Yeah, I have definitely been sporting a more glam version of my everyday makeup considering this palette mostly consists of metallic shades with only 4 matte shades.

What I have been loving about this palette how pigmented all the shades are especially the matte shades you barely have to tap the brush on the pan and it will pick a lot of colour. The metallic shades are amazing with and without setting spray the give off a gorgeous wet foiled look.
The only downside to this palette is that there is definitely a fair amount of fallout with most of the shades however, this was not much of an issue for me as usually do my eye makeup first with palettes this like this. As far as wear time goes these shadows have proven to be amazing I have worn the 12hrs straight and did not budge a bit, they were just as intense from start to finish.
All in all I am loving the colour selection the majority of the shades are warm toned bronze/ golden shades, I would say this is more of a spring palette for me to be honest even though the palette was launched at the end of 2017 for the holiday season. I will most probably continue using this palette until just because it is easier to pull off a gorgeous eye look without putting in as much effort.
If you are into metallic’s and love a pop of colour on your lids this is probably the palette for you. I hope this review has helped you make your decision on whether its worth picking up this palette.
I would love to hear your thoughts on this palette and other makeup products you have been loving lately so definitely leave a comment down below. Don’t forget to follow me on all my socials.
