My go to everyday makeup routine!

Hey beauts, as always I hope you are all doing well?

So I recently asked you guys on Instagram what you’d like to see next on my blog and you have voted for my go to makeup routine.

So lets get right into it!

I usually start my makeup routine off with a primer, most often I reach for the Freedom studio priming water as it’s perfect for the winter season as it’s a water based primer that is enhanced with vitamins which helps keep your face hydrated throughout the day. Which is essential for me as this cold weather definitely makes my skin dry. I also like add some Nyx born to glow illuminating primer  just because it gives me that healthy glow.

Then I go in with the Charlotte Tilbury Light wonder foundation however if you are looking for something that has more coverage that is still lightweight then i’d suggest going for the Fentybeauty (matte finish) or the Nars Sheer glow (dewy finish) foundation. By the way if your wondering I usually apply my foundation with a damp beauty blender or Eco tools sponge.

I usually move on to my brows next most often i’ll either pick up the ABH brow pomade or the freedom brow pomade because honestly I find them both to do exactly the same job. So definitely check out the freedom brow pomade for a great cost effective alternative. IMG_4199

For my eyes my go to palette is usually the morphe 350  palette and I honestly use about 2 shades the orange in my crease and the redish shade on my lids. Yes, I know it’s  a bit bright for an everyday look but honestly I love how it looks. But of course blending is essential especially when your only using only two shades. I also use the excess on the brush on my lower lash line to add a bit of colour. I don’t really wear eyeliner on daily basis so I’d usually finish the eyes with my trusty maybelline lash sensational mascara.

I then go in with my concealer to clean up my brows and highlight under my eyes I use a mixture of the maybelline age rewind in light and the Nars radiant creamy concealer in custard and then followed by a light dusting of translucent powder by Laura Mercier or the RCMA no colour powder just to set the places I applied concealer.

“Bare with me i’m almost done girls …” I then go in with the Balm cosmetics Bahama Mama contour powder to chisel out them cheekbones!  Then i’ll just run the excess down the side of my nose to give my nose a more natural looking contour.

For the next I’ll bronze my entire face with a large fluffy powder brush, my go to bronzer is the loreal glam bronze and if I have time i’ll add a bit of blush most often it’s a Milani blush. But of course, I always have time for highlighting my go to combo is the Becca’s moonstone with Laura seller’s gilded honey. I always apply powder my highlighter then set my face with a setting spray (Gerard cosmetics slay all day in jasmine) and then lightly tap more highlighter on just before its dry. Once my face is dry I just go back with clean brush to make sure everything is blended well.

Lastly I apply the La colours lipliner in true brown and any of the following liquid lipsticks on top –
Colourpop – Times square
Huda Beauty – Bombshell or Trendsetter
Nip + Fab – Marshmallow

That’s all hun’s, these are all the products I use and this is exactly how do my makeup every morning. Please do let me know what do you think of it? Also i’d love to know what are your morning essential products?

Till next time stay well, stay beautiful.
Xoxo
